Henderson is a place to call home. And it has great plans for 2016. Councilwoman Debra March from the City of Henderson visited our Keller Williams Southern Nevada office meeting today. She shared all the upcoming plans for our city and positive news about Henderson.
Debra shared with us that according to Forbes Magazine, Henderson is now one of the top 5 safest cities in the United States! One of the Top 50 places to live in the US and that we received a Gold Medal for Best Parks and Recreation!http://www.cityofhenderson.com/henderson-happenings/parks-and-trails/general-parks-and-trails-information Debra said that the city’s strategy is to make Henderson “America’s Premier Community”. http://www.cityofhenderson.com/visitors/home?gnode=VISITORS.
Henderson has 280,000 residents and has the LOWEST tax rate in the entire country! 71 cents per assessed value.
If you are thinking of moving to Las Vegas, you may want to consider her sister city Henderson which is apart of the greater Las Vegas valley and Clark County. http://www.cityofhenderson.com/relocation-guide/welcome-to-henderson
Councilwoman March reminded us that as Realtors “we’re not just selling a home, but a quality of life and a lifestyle.” And for those financial wizards out there, Henderson got a Double AA Bond Rating from Standard and Poors.
The city is expanding and seeing a huge surge in businesses relocating to Henderson where they are welcomed and assisted with making the move as easy as possible. There is a big announcement coming soon about 2 large companies that will be moving here in 2016. Just waiting for the official announcement. They will join Fed Ex and ProLogics who have set up shop . In addition to business, we will finally have a hospital to call our own. Henderson Hospital is being built right near the Galleria Mall/I-95 and Sunset Rd. We hear that Cox Communications will be adding a facility in in 2016. Near the new hospital there is a new master planned community being built as we speak called Cadence. It has a wide variety of builders and home prices to suit all ranges of buyers.
A big thanks to Councilwoman Debra March http://www.cityofhenderson.com/ward-ii/ward-ii for visiting our office today. You got us excited about our city’s future and things are looking bright in 2016!
